About the course

The science of implantology has undoubtedly come into its own over the last few decades. From pathbreaking scientific research in Sweden in the early 50s, to becoming the most sought after tooth replacement solution, the humble dental implant has come through much evolution. Many dental practitioners are constantly seeking continuing education in implantology, sometimes to keep up with evolving scientific change and sometimes to empower themselves to offer a comprehensive implant solution in their practice. This course is designed for exactly that kind of dental practitioner and it offers a basic and yet, fairly comprehensive, introduction to this wonderful science.

Implantology one-on-one is our flagship course in dental implants. Designed to be a clinically centred course that creates dental implant clinicians by mentoring them with individual attention, the course title represents not only the clinical hand held instruction that every participant receives, but the ongoing support that is provided even AFTER the course for every clinician’s individual patients.

What makes THIS course worth taking?

• It is limited to a very SMALL GROUP of clinicians and is all about focussed education in a clinical setting

• It is didactic in nature and is yet strongly clinically oriented, giving every participating clinician the opportunity to WORK WITH PATIENTS (see Clinical Sessions options tab below) and not just models/animal jaws

• It takes you through the entire treatment sequence, offering you the opportunity to actually EXPERIENCE AND PERFORM ALL diagnostics, surgery, pre prosthetic phase management and final prosthodontics yourself

• You will see and treat the most COMMON CLINICAL SCENARIOS that you are likely to encounter- a single missing tooth, small edentulous spans and the fully edentulous patient who is seeking an implant overdenture

• You will receive POST COURSE SUPPORT that will help you with treatment planning and execution. You will be mentored as you evolve, to provide dental implants to your patients

This course is an online version of the Implantology One on One course that requires physical attendance. It was created in response to a demand for online education. It also offers the participant the opportunity to complete the entire didactic curriculum at a pace of their choosing. It also provides all clinical didactics, hands on exercises and clinical sessions in an university setting. The clinical sessions on this course are also unique in that they provide experience with all aspects of the implant treatment process including surgical placement, second stage surgery, prosthodontic records and prosthodontic delivery over a one week duration. All cases are also carefully planned during the university didactic sessions onsite, in keeping with The ACE Institute’s philosophy of CT based guided surgery. More information is available under the Clinical Sessions tab at the bottom of this page.
