With the advent of digital dentistry, surgical implantology has become extremely predictable. Technological advancements like intraoral scanning, high resolution CBCT imaging, milling and 3D printing are the core drivers of what has come to be contemporary guided surgery. The industry has also responded to these trends with the development of advanced keyless guided surgery instrumentation and integration with digital prosthetic workflows. The result is the amazing ability we have today to be able to plan and execute implant placement positions to achieve prosthodontically favourable outcomes. This course covers it all by first laying a strong foundation with an intricate understanding of CBCT interpretation in the context of implant treatment planning. It builds on this foundation by employing the best software available to teach repeatable techniques for CBCT based guided surgery in basic clinical situations.
Plan the most common basic clinical situations with STRAIGHTFORWARD implants encountered in everyday dental practice:
Produce your own surgical guides with in office milling or printing and use guided surgery instrumentation. A demonstration is dedicated solely to 3D printing, sleeve insertion and guide finishing.
Use multiple types of implant planning software including RealGuide, BlueSky Plan and Implastation. All of these software will be made available to you on the course but you will be able to retain your licenses for continued use if you purchase per case exports for your future cases.
