3D printing is arguably the fastest growing segment in digital dentistry. The industry is constantly evolving with fast paced research and development of various 3D printing solutions and resins. The gap between printing and existing digital workflows like milling is also rapidly closing. The modern dental practitioner is also at last ‘afforded’ a viable hardware alternative to milling that puts the potential of an in house lab within reach like never before. This course will take a deep dive into the world of dental 3D printing and separate the science from the marketing and truly put decision making into the hands of the participant.
Spend 3 intensive days to understand the applications that matter and learn to design and fabricate multiple 3D printed applications in house. Give your patients the technological power of same appointment dentistry in most instances AND open your practice up to dentures and orthodontic aligners, in addition to other common applications, with the power of 3D printing.
Our course dates for 2025-26 are above. This is a didactics and hands on course that is provided in New Zealand, Australia and the USA.
In New Zealand, the course is always conducted at The ACE Institute’s facility in Hamilton, New Zealand. Hamilton is also centrally located and is a short one hour drive from Auckland Airport. Shuttle pick ups from the airport can be organised on request. Hamilton is also served by direct Air New Zealand flights from Wellington and Christchurch. Jetstar operates flights between Hamilton and the Gold Coast/Sydney in Australia.
Learn design skills that you can take to your own practice. Learn how to design study models, articulated models, crown and bridge, impression trays, waxups, basic surgical guides, nightguards and splints.
3D print various applications yourself and understand how to print, post process and finish your 3D printed applications.
Course fees are $2950 NZD plus GST (GST is charged only if applicable and is usually charged only to New Zealand participants). Course fees include all digital materials and temporary software licenses.
